Applied Serendipity: Oct. 21

A look at how I’ve used Applied Serendipity in my own life lately:

CARE: Caring that our financial institutions are leaving people and small businesses behind. Proud to be addressing this issue by joining Uplinq Financial Technologies, a new company committed to providing inclusive credit and addressing the wealth gap. An example of how data can be used for purpose and profit.

PREPARE: Preparing for winter—winterizing the beehives, bringing in furniture, overwintering geraniums for the first time, and doing final preparations in the forest and gardens.

AWARE: Aware that Election Day is coming and our votes matter.

SHARE: Sharing and connecting to people I haven’t seen in awhile—recommitting to nourishing important relationships in my life. Keeping it simple—texts, coffee, walks with friends.

DARE: Daring to challenge myself to spend more time hiking in the woods (and wearing a neon jacket - it’s bow-hunting season…)
