Applied Serendipity: April 2

CARE: Are you a caring leader making a difference in your community? I invite you to learn about the Wilmers Integrity Prize and consider applying for the 2024 award.

PREPARE: The weather for next week’s eclipse looks very promising—warm and mostly sunny—at least as of now. Excited to experience totality!

AWARE: Heading to DC today for a dinner with data leaders and with Ultranauts—a data engineering company on a mission to show that neurodiversity and inclusive practices can be a competitive advantage. Proud to be an Advisor to Ultranauts and to get the word out about their groundbreaking business model and services.

SHARE: Can’t wait to try this cheesecake with Applied Serendipity Raw Honey drizzle, made by my brother-in-law and Chef Chris Connors. Chris opened his restaurant in Lambertville, NJ in 2001 because of its proximity to so many local farms. He’s been doing farm-to-table before it was cool—and now together we’ve done hive-to-cheesecake!

DARE: Had a thought-provoking conversation with a new colleague I met in NY a few weeks ago to explore interesting partnerships. Loved her insight that my next opportunity is to do more “at scale.” I am daring to think about what that might look like! Do you dare to think bigger? What might that look like for you?
