Allison is a keynote speaker at the sold-out DataLit Summit hosted by the DC-Maryland-Virginia (DMV) Chapter of Women In Data, an organization dedicated to closing the gender gap in data. Attendees will walk away with a deeper understanding of data literacy and how it can empower organizations and individuals alike. Allison will speak about data literacy and allyship to inspire attendees to take their careers to the next level through building a board of allies.

Women in Data was created in 2015 to address the lack of women representation in the data field. Concerned about the prospect of gender equality in a data-driven future, the first chapter of Women in Data was launched. The Women in Data mission since day one has been to increase diversity in data careers because we know representation and participation of all kinds matters, especially in growing, in-demand roles across data and technology.
