Carnegie Mellon Ranked #1 in AI Among Universities

In the newly released 2025 Best Colleges rankings, U.S. News and World Report(opens in new window) announced today that Carnegie Mellon University ranks No. 1 in five different undergraduate disciplines: Artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, management information systems, mobile/web applications, and software engineering, all of which drive technological innovation worldwide. These programs train the next generation of innovators to solve real-world problems and improve the way people live and work.

Allison Sagraves is currently a faculty member for the Chief Data and AI Officer Certificate program at Carnegie Mellon’s Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy.
