Applied Serendipity: March 4
CARE: The Total Eclipse of the Sun is just over a month away, and my beehives are in the Path of Totality. Given that the width of the path is just about 50 miles, totality only happens in any place about once every hundred years. So it’s truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see how my bees respond to mid-day darkness. I’m collecting data as a citizen scientist for NASA of the sounds bees make before, during, and after the eclipse. This year’s honey will be a once-in-a-lifetime Eclipse vintage!
PREPARE: One of my clients’ approaches to understanding AI is to become a “Public Learner”— reading, talking to people, using tools, experimenting, admitting to uncertainty and anxiety about the change that is upon us. Change we cannot ignore. Have you gone public with your learning?
